Update for the doughnuts character changed the shape and features of the character since this is a bad carb character I wanted it to look kinda similar to the burger character.

Cowboy Burger

Today I worked on the burger concept art. Since burgers are usually associated with western food I went with the cowboy look for the character. I wanted the character to still look like a burger so i made the burger patty as a T-shirt with  logos of burger fillings.

Character Update

I Cleaned up the sweet potato character a bit and changed the shape of the glasses and the mouth to make the character look less arrogant.

Bad fat Burger character

I took my early concept of the burger character and added more details to it. The structure from my previous concept wasn't too bad. I wanted the character to look like he's had one too many burgers and look lazy and tired.

More thumbnails for the doughnut character.

Previous thumbnails all looked more like cake rather than a doughnut So I went back to one of the first sketches that I did and worked on it more. I decided to loose the body for the character because it still looked really active. I think number 3 works well. 

Since it contains a lot of sugar I wanted the character to look a bit hyper and goes back to being tired really quick to create the sugar rush. I am going to model a number of these characters to show that it affects your body when you have lots of it.
